Coppins Farm

For over a decade now Coppins farm has been part of an environmental stewardship scheme, there are no crops, no sprays, chemicals or soil destruction of any kind on our land. Instead all of our 150 acres is a flourishing wildlife reserve. Nature is abundant everywhere you look, from swamp to wild flower meadow every corner of our farm has been filled with life and there are plenty of paths and tracks to enjoy it. As a Coppins guest you can walk pretty much anywhere on the farm.

Coppins Farm lies on the edge of the picturesque Stour Valley surrounding the village of Alphamstone,a short 15 minute drive from the pretty market town of Sudbury and just 5 minutes from the village of Bures where there is a train link to London.

The scenic value at and around the farm is amongst the best in the county. There is a maze of sunken, traffic-free lanes to explore, along with dozens of footpaths that take you through open dale, ancient woodland and panoramic views of the stour valley.

Coppins has three small holiday lets which are available to hire year round and a seasonal events venue running from May – September hosting Weddings, Retreats and Glamping. The giant hat tipis that house a lot of our events are situated in a wild flower meadow on the eastern side of the farm with direct access to a small woodland ceremony area.
