Nestled within 150 acres of unspoiled Suffolk countryside on the edge of the beautiful Stour Valley, Coppins Farm is a family-run eco venue offering an extraordinary setting for weddings, glamping hen parties and wellness retreats. No crowds. No chemicals. No compromise on beauty.

Where Nature Meets Celebration

Coppins Farm sits in the heart of rural Suffolk, near the village of Alphamstone, just 15 minutes from Sudbury and five minutes from Bures, with a direct train link to London. Yet once you arrive, the outside world quietly disappears.

For over a decade, every one of our 150 acres has been managed as a thriving wildlife reserve, no crops, no sprays, no soil disturbance. What you find instead is wildflower meadow, ancient woodland, panoramic valley views and sunken country lanes made for wandering. It's a living, breathing landscape, and it's the backdrop to everything we do here.

From first visit to the day itself the team were so helpful, the field and ceremony area are unmatched in their beauty by any other venues in the area (IMO), it's affordable and they support and encourage sustainable weddings by offering hire of props, decor and more so you don't have to buy it all. It offers flexibility to find your own caterers, do your own DIY decor, buy your own booze, or go all in with them if budget allows. We really couldn't have had a better time there, from set-up on the Friday, the wedding day, and over night camping it was just a genuine dream. The venue is superb, really versatile and they can make it how you want it so it’s really unique to you. The Tipis made it really different and were decorated beautifully. The Bell tent was cosy to sleep in and meant we didn’t have to go anywhere else. We also then woke up in the glorious countryside!

The location alone is perfect, nestled in the valley , it’s lovely and quiet with stunning views and a gorgeous sunset. We camped overnight and the sunrise and bird song in the morning is an absolutely magical experience. Not only is the setting incredible but Laura and Ben were the best hosts we could have asked for! They were so accommodating, always there to help when we needed it and with such creative minds to help bring any vision we had to life. We had an unforgettable time at coppins and will be back for more events in the future. The is place is a gem!

Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful, set right in the countryside where you can hear nothing but the birds and the trickling stream down in the woodland. The yoga is adjusted for all levels, so you don’t need to be a yogi to enjoy it. After yoga, I had the most relaxing massage followed by some delicious food—a smorgasbord with lots of choice, all fresh and prepared on site. There’s quite a few other things going on aside from yoga, like the massages, circles and tapping (EFT) but you can choose what you join in with depending on what suits you. There’s real attention to detail with the venue—all decorated beautifully. Definitely recommend as somewhere to go alone or with friends to recharge.

Having had a lot of stress with cancelled Covid weddings, Kate, Ben and Laura went out of their way to make everything run perfectly and give us the most wonderful day. Laura's eye to detail when it came to decorating the tipi tents completely went over and above our expectations. Our guests continue (3 years on) to tell us how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed the day. I loved how we could book the space for the weekend and feel really settled before the big day. The railway carriage was such a beautiful setting to get ready the morning of, and the service in the woods was simply magical. A stunning space run by warm and wonderful people.

The setting is beautiful and unique, and the attention to detail, particularly with things like the food, decoration and facilities, makes it really stand out from other event venues.

The yoga retreat was a great mix of yoga, relaxation and socialising and the instructors were lovely. I am not the most experienced yogi but I never felt out of my depth and I really enjoyed the range of activities that we did throughout the day, many of which I’d never tried before. Would 100% recommend!
