Blessing Area

 Our enchanting woodland ceremony area is reached by a meandering pathway which takes you through the trees to our sloped, natural amphitheatre with a ceiling of tree canopy and a stream that wraps around three sides. We are lucky to have many species of tree in our little woodland including Oak, Alder and Hawthorn which surround our ceremony area. Since ancient times, people have married under Oak; a marriage under an Oak is thought to foretell a strong union that will endure and bless the couple with wisdom. In ancient times, Alder symbolised strength in unions and Hawthorn, love and protection. Cocooned in greenery, this space is a magical place to share your vows. Our babbling brook can be heard in the background and birds will serenade your ceremony. Guests are seated on rustic bench seating.
